“When we spoke yesterday (Friday), he told me it would have been much better, he wanted to train,” said Majorquin’s uncle, who says the 36 -year -old player – who won the week his last 14th Roland -Garros tournament – will resume the racket next week.

Nadal has been suffering from Müller-Weiss syndrome for years, a degenerative and incurable disease characterized by deformity of one of the bones of the foot.
