Théophile Cotte, Théo Lepage and Oktay Yilmaz are officially new CS Bourgoin-Jallieu rugby players. As announced in our columns for several weeks now, these three players are back to strengthen the sky and grenade pack at National, after the first marked passages under the jersey.
Théophile Cotte, Léandre’s brother, the captain – who made his return to the club in 2020 – was formed at CSBJ and played from 2010 to 2017 before taking over the leadership of LOU (Top 14) and then Nevers (Pro D2 ). Dot with a great deal of experience and a sharp sense of physical challenge, the 29 -year -old’s third line (1.97 m; 97kg) signed for three years at Bourgoin. Théo Lepage, himself, would have made less effort to remember places, on the side of Pierre-Rajon Stadium. The third line (30 years, 1.85 m; 108 kg) marks its “come-back” only one year after its departure for Chambéry (National). Player highly appreciated by fans for his combat, he signed for two seasons, plus one as an option. Finally, Oktay Yilmaz is, too, a pure product of the dolphin club. Formed from the CSBJ school of rugby, he joined the professional group at the age of 18, in 2016, before leaving in 2018 on the Nevers side (Pro D2). Right of duty, handed balloon in hand, Yilmaz has signed a three -season contract with CSBJ rugby.
These three recruits complete a priori the growing market and the official announcement of their recruitment will launch the club’s re -subscription campaign.
