Roller hockey rolls towards the top

The dernier weekend, the ville accueillait the finale du championnat of France in the roller hockey category at the age of 15 years. The event, in the form of a three-day inter-team tournament, competed against the six teams that came to qualify: Anglet, l’Entente Collégien/Blanc Mesnil, Valence, Moreuil, Amiens and Lyon. It was in an electric atmosphere, under heavy heat and with certain pressure, that the young athletes clashed in the Ramée gymnasium. In the aftermath of a series of clashes, victory came to Lyon, followed by Anglet and Valence.

The Tournefeuille Roller Hockey Club (TRHC), organizer of the competition, has unfortunately seen its U15 team sink to the semi-finals in Paris recently. Labels for the Fédération française de Roller et Skateboard, the club ends with a sportive for the organization of cette belle échéance, après quelques mois riches en résultats. Indeed, the TRHC, nationally recognized, saw its first men’s team rank 5th in National 1, while the U20 men managed to go for the bronze medal.

Opening to handisport

For next season, the president has already announced clear objectives: “Show the play-offs for National 1, pursue the positive development dynamics of the club, and above all, go looking for medals, and this in all categories”.
