News – HC Uni Neuchâtel: Philippe Loup, new president

1st League

HC University of Neuchâtel

HC University held its annual statutory meeting. It was with a strong influx and a high level of interest that all the participants became aware of the various activity reports. The debates become dense, argumentative but always correct when it comes to overcoming the sporting and financial perspectives of a club while training, seeing the strength of its Junior Movement, but also performance space for its very young 1st a team still ranked in the Ire League top trio.

In statutory elections, Philippe Loup was widely elected, accompanied by a highly resized committee. The latter now accounts for several former hockey practitioners, some at a higher level. Despite these great technical and professional skills in various fields but especially united by strong values and common goals, the new president and his committee are committed to focusing on three strong pillars of development.

First and foremost, commit to the fact that the 1st team has the means to dedicate a club-flag, especially for young people, so as to practice at a good level of performance but also to become a possible stepping stone towards the higher leagues.

Improve the framing even more

The second goal is to improve coaching, already recognized, allowing our juniors to practice their favorite sport. However, expanding this nursery remains a constant goal notably through the hockey school for the smallest but also by approaching the coastal schools to offer, as far as possible, support to teachers coming to the halls with them.

Finally, the partnership with the HCC must obviously continue to expand because it is essential to offer a performing space for the development of the Junior Elite U20, U17 and even U15 of this canton because they are the relief club isang besoin.

The assembly broke up without having previously warmly greeted and thanked its outgoing president Claude Borel, who remains a member of the committee. Acknowledgments also accompanied committee members who did not wish to continue their activities within the committee.
