Mercus-Garrabet. A first chair tennis tournament in Ariège

A big premiere in Ariège will take place from June 17 to 19 on the Mercus tennis courts: a chair tennis tournament, with eight players from Tarbes, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Toulouse, at an exhibition with the 14th Frenchman, Rodolphe Lopez , at le 50e, Christophe Saint-Paul.

The handisports tournament will begin by welcoming participants Friday 17-11pm; de 13 heures à 18 heures, matches (in part 15 h 30) and ateliers with the tennis professor. Saturday, 9 a.m., matches; from 1pm to 5pm, matches and workshops; à partir de 17 h 30, inagurasyon ng club house suivi d’un repas festif. Sunday, from 9 a.m., matches and finals, then prizes.

On Saturday, at 5pm, before the inauguration of the club house, there will be an exhibition with the 14th and 50th players of the French Paratennis rankings, in the form of mini-matches with valid players.

This event is not to be missed. There will be a buffet, pancakes and other fries on site. The president of the club Laurent Boniface remercie tous nos partenaires et bénévoles “pour the good organization of the tournament which includes, l’hébergement, la restauration at transport entre le club et le terrain.”

Participants will be housed at the Manoir d’Agnès de Tarascon, partner of these handisport days.
