Le Lons Section Paloise Rugby Women’s dominates Normandy and saves place in Elite (0-33)

This is a big opening for the Women’s Rugby Paloise Lons Section! The Béarnaises simply played their survival in Elite 1 this Sunday afternoon, on a dry match, in Evreux against the Valkyries Normandie de Rouen, celebrating last weekend’s Elite 2 championship. If the Normans haven’t lost a single match of the season, the Lonsoises had to respect logic to prevail, 0-33and therefore maintain!

The Lonsoises made the race head on

At the start of the match the Béarnaises took the score, thanks to a first try by Magali Ollier, and then two more in the first period signed by Lisa Cazaux and Alexia Cerenys to lead 19-0 at the break. Despite a return of pushy vests, thanks to his dominant conquest Lons is set to sign a new essay by his international neo-retired, Lise Arricastre. Laetitia Royer, in the final minutes, marks one last try to scale the score. The Lonsoises can breathe, and taste, back by bus, in a good ten hours, will be forcibly easier to carry!
